"We have two boys that attend J.A. Rogers Elementary. We picked J.A. Rogers because it is in our neighborhood, plus I have heard great things about the school. The teachers that I have come in contact with are very understanding while building a relationship with my kids. J.A. Rogers is a clean facility inside and out.”

Become a Mentor
Mentoring within schools has become an increasingly popular and effective way to bring a caring adult or older peer relationship to the lives of more youth.
Make a Gift
The Kansas City Public Schools Education Foundation was established in 2012 as a self-perpetuating, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization to promote quality education in Kansas City Public Schools.
Parent Leadership Organizations
Participating in parent leadership organizations is a great way to get involved in the education of children. Adults who take an active role in education positively impact future generations of leaders, workers and parents. These adults also get a chance to see firsthand what goes on inside schools within the Kansas City, Missouri School District.
By giving your time you're not only helping KCPS, you're also helping the communities our schools support and thrive in.
